ECU Coding for Functionality
LAUNCH X431 PADIII offers the ECU Coding feature, which is not available in conventional code readers, to allow you:
- To perform the customer individual customization of the car such as setting alarms, doors locking, and outdoor lighting, etc., to improve vehicle performance, or stimulate high-end car functions.
- To alter the configuration when a component is replaced, so the new actuators can be recognized by related vehicle systems.
- To enable multiple car systems to recognize each other, and so the actuators can start to work.

Active Test / Bidirectional Control
The X431 PAD III V2.0 automotive diagnostic scanner performs the active test, thus you can bypass the electronic control module and directly communicate with the control unit. By monitoring actuators’ response, you can precisely locate the faults, shortening the troubleshooting time without tearing the vehicle apart

- Injector Coding: Code a new injector to replace the previous one to control the injection amount.
- Oil Reset: Reset the oil life to start a new maintenance cycle.
- Throttle Adaptation: Initialize the throttle actuators to turn the learning value of the ECU to the initial state.
- Steering Angle Reset:: Calibrate the steering angle after replacing the steering angle position sensor, replacing the mechanical parts of the steering system and completing the four-wheel positioning, etc.,

We accept return within 30 days from the receipt of your order to return goods you bought from Launchx431online.com (Except Launch Software Update Service).
We promise to obey the return refund policy when the item has the problem below but you must send back the item, after knowing your problem and what you want us to do.
A. For all returns you have an obligation to contact us to request an RMA number (return merchandise authorization number). We accept return within 30 days from the receipt of your order to return goods you bought from us ( Except Software Update Service). You can contact us at anytime by using our online chat or emailing us with your return request. Contacting us first is very important. Why? Because unidentifiable packages shipped to our warehouse may become lost or returned to you as unaccepted. So please talk to us before shipping back any product. We are always happy to issue an RMA to any customer that requests one.
B. For any product that has a quality problem: If the product never works or was damaged during shipment, we will issue you a 100% refund. We may request you to return the product to analyze the exact nature of the problem. If we request a return shipment, please make sure to retain all the original shipping packaging. It will take 5-7 working day to receive the package. After we receive the item, we will refund you within 3 working day. The refund can be received within three (3) business days.
C. For returns caused by customers’ wrong/duplicate purchase or inappropriate operation on the products, we may charge a restocking and handling fee. Upon return of the product will promptly issue you an 80% refund of the purchase price. It will take 5-7 working day to receive the package. After we receive the item, we will refund you within 3 working day. The refund can be received within three (3) business days.
D. For any miss-shipped items (lost items, wrong item or incomplete item), we will pay all the shipping and related fees. We will give you the choice of returning the product for exchange or refund. Once we confirm the package is not shipped or we send the wrong product, we will ship the new product or refund you within 5 working day.
