LAUNCH X431 PROS V+ features bi-directional control, also known as active tests. It can output the commands to ECUs, read the ECU data to determine the integrity of the system or parts, and monitor the operation of the actuators, letting you quickly know whether a specific system, component or subsystem is functioning properly or not.

Key IMMO

This function enables the immobilizer control system to identify and authorize remote control keys to normally use the car when the ignition switch key/switch, ECU, or remote control battery is replaced. To perform read-write functions for vehicle key, EEPROM, etc., this Launch diagnostic scanner needs to work with the specific immobilizer programmer–X-PROG 3 (sold separately).

Refresh Hidden Features

I’ve used this a few times already and it is excellent. Haven’t had any issues with connecting to vehicles and the functions are far better than some I’ve used in the past for a higher price. The wireless part of it is great as well. No more hanging the tool out the door or wrapping it around to under the hood to see it while checking things out.

The tool works excellent. I can scan all systems on most vehicles I work on. The health scan feature is very accurate and very user friendly. My only problem was that I purchased a 2023 scan tool as advertised but Recieved a 2021 tool.

The powerful hardware is the main reasonstuck with this bidirectional scanner.This scanner works super fast during use.D8BT is quite weak compared to PROS V+. It cannot stand heavy workloads, when I use itcontinuously and ask the scanner to do too many tasks, it will be laggy. I mean thisscanner is still fast, it just gets overworked sometimes.Surrounded by numerous bidirectional scanners in the market, I know it is hard to choosethe best one.l have tested many bidirectional scan tools on different vehicles.
